Bikes moved across Brisbane, not just quoted on

Most bikes we move in Brisbane are not broken — they are just somewhere the owner cannot ride them from. A bike bought online in Ipswich with no rego on it. A project in a Bracken Ridge shed that has not run since the last owner had it. A new purchase that needs to get from a seller in Springwood to a garage in Chermside without putting the first 30 kilometres on it in traffic.

Bikes travel in a van, not open on a trailer, which is the part that matters between November and March. A Brisbane storm does not give you much notice, and neither does the Gateway at 4pm. Inside the van your bike is out of the rain, out of the stone chips and out of sight, chocked at the front wheel and strapped so nothing moves when the road does.

Each van takes two bikes, and there are two vans. So a pair travels together on one run, and three or four move as one job instead of being split across separate trips on separate days.

Every job is quoted before it happens. You get a price for the run you actually asked about — the suburbs, the bike, whether it rolls — not a per-kilometre rate you have to work out yourself.

Capacity

More than one bike? That is one job, not three

Two bikes fit in a van, and there are two vans.

Each van is set up for two bikes, chocked and strapped side by side, and with both vans out that is four moving at once. A multi-bike move is quoted and run as a single job — one pickup window, one delivery, one price — rather than being broken into separate trips on separate days.

Dealer and workshop runs

Three bikes going out to three customers across the north side is one run. Stock moved between sites, or a batch of trade-ins collected in one go, works the same way.

Track weekends

Two riders heading out together, or one rider taking a spare bike, go on the same load. Same again on the way home, which is usually the trip nobody feels like doing.

Collections and house moves

A shed with three bikes in it does not need three bookings. We load what fits, come back for the rest if there is more, and you get one price for the lot up front.

A runner and a non-runner together

The bike you ride and the project that has not started since 2019 can travel on the same run. We bring the gear for both.

Why people book

Why Brisbane riders call us

The jobs that come up again and again across the city.

You bought it online and cannot ride it home

Marketplace and the bike sites put half of Brisbane within reach and none of it within riding distance if the bike is unregistered, uninsured or bigger than your licence allows. We collect from the seller and deliver to you, so the handover happens without either of you risking a ride.

It is unregistered or not roadworthy yet

An unregistered bike cannot legally be ridden to the workshop that is going to make it roadworthy, which is the loop a lot of people get stuck in. We move it there and back on the truck instead.

It does not run

Seized, no brakes, no battery, a rolling chassis with the engine in a crate — tell us when you book and we turn up with the gear to load it anyway. Non-runners are normal work, not an exception.

You are stuck on the side of the road

Breakdown recovery is answered around the clock. The M1, the Gateway, the Bruce, the Centenary — if the bike has stopped somewhere it should not have, call and we will come and get it.

The driveway or the basement beats the bike

Plenty of Brisbane houses are on a slope that a low sportsbike will ground out on, and plenty of inner-city apartment car parks have a ramp and a clearance bar that a tall adventure bike will not clear. We load at street level when that is what the address needs — just say so when you book.

It is going on a truck or a track

Bikes headed interstate, bikes coming back from a track weekend, and dealer and workshop deliveries that have to land on a particular day. Enclosed the whole way, so it arrives the way it left.

Where we deliver to

Most Brisbane jobs end at one of these. We do not need you to be there for all of them — tell us who is receiving the bike and we will sort the handover.

Workshops and mechanics

The most common drop-off we do. If the bike is unregistered or will not start, getting it to a mechanic is the whole problem — we take it straight to the workshop door and, when the job is done, bring it home again.

Dealership deliveries

New and used bikes out to customers, and bikes moved between dealer sites. Booked for a date, delivered enclosed, handed over clean.

Auction and clearance yards

Bought at auction and the yard wants it gone? Auction stock is usually unregistered and often has not run in a while, which is exactly what we are set up for. We collect on the release and deliver wherever it is going.

Private addresses

House to house, seller to buyer, garage to garage. Including the awkward ones — steep drives, narrow lanes, apartment car parks and unit complexes.

Storage and long-term parking

Into a storage unit for a deployment, a trip or a house move, and back out again when you want it.

Freight depots and interstate handover

When a bike is going a lot further than South East Queensland, we get it to the depot in one piece and on time.

How far we run

  • Anywhere in the Brisbane City Council area
  • North to North Lakes, Petrie and Caboolture
  • South to Springwood, Loganholme and Beenleigh
  • East to Capalaba, Cleveland and the bay suburbs
  • West to Ipswich, Goodna and Springfield
  • Further afield: Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba and interstate on request
Regular runs

Runs out of Brisbane we do most weeks

Brisbane is the middle of it. These are the legs that come up most.

Brisbane→Sunshine Coast

Up the Bruce to Caloundra, Maroochydore and the hinterland. A lot of these are holiday-house bikes and bikes going to and from a workshop.

Brisbane→Toowoomba

Out the Warrego and up the range. The descent is the reason to have the bike strapped properly and the reason a lot of people would rather not ride an unfamiliar machine down it.

Brisbane→Ipswich and the western corridor

Goodna, Springfield, Ipswich itself. Close enough that people assume they will ride it home, until they find out it has no rego.

Brisbane→Interstate

Sydney, Melbourne and the long moves. Ask and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right option or whether a line-haul freighter is.

Questions

Common questions

Does the bike need to be registered or running?

No. Unregistered bikes, bikes without a roadworthy and bikes that will not start are all normal work for us. Tell us which it is when you ask for a quote so we arrive with the right gear to load it.

Can you move more than one bike at a time?

Yes. Each van carries two bikes, and there are two vans, so up to four can move together. A pair travels in the same van on the same run, and a larger move is quoted as one job rather than split into separate trips. Tell us how many bikes and what they are when you ask for a quote and we will confirm what fits and when.

How much does motorcycle transport in Brisbane cost?

It depends on the distance between the two addresses, whether the bike rolls and starts, and how easy the pickup and drop-off are to get a van into. Send us the pickup and drop-off suburbs and the make and model and you will get a price for that specific run before anything is booked.

Is my bike insured while you have it?

Insured with NTI. Up to $150,000 accidental damage cover per load in transit, including loading and unloading. $30 million public liability. That cover applies from the moment we start loading to the moment the bike is off the van at the other end.

How is the bike secured in the van?

The front wheel goes into a wheel chock and the bike is strapped down from there, so it is held upright and cannot roll or lean. It travels fully enclosed in the van rather than exposed on an open trailer.

Can you collect from an apartment car park in the inner city?

Usually, but the ramp and the height bar decide it. Some basements will not take a van at all, in which case we load at street level instead. Mention the building and the access when you ask for a quote and we will tell you which it will be before the day.

Do I need to be there for the pickup and the delivery?

Not necessarily — plenty of jobs are collected from a seller and delivered to a workshop with the owner at work the whole time. Tell us who will be at each end and we will arrange it with them directly.

What do you need from me to give me a quote?

The pickup suburb, the drop-off suburb, the make and model, and whether it runs. Anything unusual about getting to either address is worth mentioning too. That is enough to price it.

Do you go outside Brisbane?

Yes. The Sunshine Coast, Logan, Redlands, Ipswich and Toowoomba are regular runs, and we do interstate moves as well.

What happens if I break down at night?

Call. Breakdown recovery is answered 24/7, not just in business hours — that is the whole point of it.

Send the two suburbs and what the bike is. You will get a price for that run, not a rate card. If it is easier to talk it through, call — breakdowns are answered any hour.
